This peak is located at the heart of  Khumbu region which is recognized as a moderate Climbing peak of this area. The Mountain is an extension of Lhotse Shar, and is located  between the Lhotse and Imja glaciers, standing at 6189m.

ESSENTIAL INFO

Nepal

Most nationalities require a visa for Nepal, which can be obtained in advance or on entry. All Nepal tourist visas are multiple entry. We recommend that you apply in advance as queues on arrival. Please bring one passport-size photo for visa. Visa fees are US $ 25 for 15 days, US $ 40 for 30 days and US $ 100 for 100 days with multi-entry.

Money

Monetary unit of Nepal is Nepali rupee.
 So you provide with €,$ of traveler’s check and of cash. You can also withdraw cash with your credit card (ATM machines) in the majority of the cities Nepal. For your payments, the credit cards are accepted in the large hotels and the majority of the shops.

Weather

The main trekking season in Nepal is from October to mid-May.

Post Monsoon autumn: Mid-September to November

Foods

If you have a gluten free diet, then we strongly recommend you bring some extra food and snacks with you.

Drinking Water

We strongly encourage you not to buy bottled water during trek as this contributes to the growing problem of plastic pollution in Himalaya.

The teahouses sell boiled water which should not require treating.

Vaccinations

There are no mandatory vaccination requirements.

Recommended vaccinations are: Hepatitis A, Typhoid, Diphtheria, Tetanus and Polio.
