Most nationalities require a visa for Nepal, which can be obtained in advance or on entry. All Nepal tourist visas are multiple entry. We recommend that you apply in advance as queues on arrival. Please bring one passport-size photo for visa. Visa fees are US $ 25 for 15 days, US $ 40 for 30 days and US $ 100 for 100 days with multi-entry.

Monetary unit of Nepal is Nepali rupee.
So you provide with €,$ of traveler’s check and of cash. You can also withdraw cash with your credit card (ATM machines) in the majority of the cities Nepal. For your payments, the credit cards are accepted in the large hotels and the majority of the shops.

The main trekking season in Nepal is from October to mid-May.

FOODS:
If you have a gluten free diet, then we strongly recommend you bring some extra food and snacks with you.
DRINKING WATER:
We strongly encourage you not to buy bottled water during trek as this contributes to the growing problem of plastic pollution in Himalaya.
The teahouses sell boiled water which should not require treating.
VACCINATION:
There are no mandatory vaccination requirements.
Recommended vaccinations are: Hepatitis A, Typhoid, Diphtheria, Tetanus ,Polio and Covid19
