ACUTE MOUNTAIN SICKNESS :
Altitude sickness (or altitude illness)
is a disorder caused by being at high altitude. Altitude sickness occurs when you get to an area of high altitude.
At altitudes above 3700m more serious
forms of altitude sickness such as high altitude pulmonary edema and high
altitude cerebral edema can occur. These are medical emergencies. You must go
to a lower altitude as soon as possible.
SIGNS OF ACUTE MOUNTAIN SICKNESS :
The most common sign is a headache.
